Jalapenos Tex-Mex Restaurant in Quinlan

Salsa was good. Tamale was not homemade. Fajita chicken had no seasoning.

The food was good, tamales we're a little dry but other than that it was good. Waitress' were very nice and had good sense of humor.

Food taste was mediocre. Little better than frozen but more volume and higher price. There was a piece of something white in my pico de gallo and it tasted 1-2 days old. There was a torn piece of paper in my salsa cup. Didn't matter, was out with my 88 yr old dad and we ate good and had a good lunch. Thanks

Family run. Friendly service. Lots of high quality food at reasonable prices. Real Mexican food. Could use a little more spice level but sprinkle a little salt, add a little salsa and you have a yummy meal! Highly recommended.

Can pass place very small from road. Walked in and not good for big groups. Great experience. Came in and wasn't busy. Table was clean. Waitress was very prompt and took our drink order. There was 3 of us and we had fajitas the beef and chicken. Plates were super hot and didn't take long for food to come out. Would be 5 stars but place is small and depending on how busy can take a while for service.

Love there food the owner are awesome, employees to.

When out of town, we always try to eat at a locally owned non chain restaurant. Jalapeno's did not disappoint. It is a small venue but is clean and comfortable. Food was very good and service was friendly. If you are looking for a good place for Tex-Mex when in Quinlan I can recommend these folks.

Years ago when the restaurant started out, it was a family business. Everyone of the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The chips were always fresh and the food was Delicious. Now the chips are stale, and the food is less desirable. We have gone back on several occasions to see if there were any improvements, but unfortunately it hadn't changed. 😢Wish I could give the Restaurant a better rating but I have to be honest.

Service is good. Everyone is very friendly. I always having a special order. They always cheerfully make it. They remember family members that use to eat with me but had to move out of state. Your just made to feel welcome for a family dinner.

This used to be a great place but tonight will be the last time i essay there food cold service sucked and i ordered something on the menu that said shrimp on the side and instead got chopped up shrimp in the meal not cool

No stars because my fiance food was cold they didn't offer to remake it instead the waitress just took it off the ticket without even offering to remake it we will not return to the restruant

I went with my family last week .The waitresses the one with the long black hair was rude didnt listen at all to us about drinks , She put her finger up in sister n laws face and said wait (I thought my sis was gonna hit her) I just couldn't believe the service..

Food and service has been on a decline for some time and the portions have been getting smaller.

I travel for seven and a half years building restaurants at chuy's taco Bell KFC's all different kinds and I find the little restaurant down here in Quinlan Texas just an hour's drive from Dallas to be rather nice brother Goode I give it three stars

Good food, great prices. But my wife ordered chicken fajitas, and they brought her beef.

Great chips and salsa! Fast service and the food was excellent! We will be back.

Good food. Prices are not the best though for the amount you get though.

Mediocre food for the price. Server was slow had to wait for a bit to get refills on tea. Took 30 minutes after we finished our meals to get our check will not be returning.

So there were ants crawling on the window and table where we were sitting. And the building is old and in need of some repairs, that being said...I had the Ribeye Fajitas and they were VERY good. No complaints about the food. As good as you will find anywhere in my opinion.

My family and I had a great meal here for the first time. We really wanted stuffed jalapeños, but sadly none were available. The food was delicious and tasted authentic. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were cooked perfectly. The fajitas were delicious as well. My boyfriend enjoyed tacos, cleaned the plate in minutes. We will give this place a visit again soon.

They have good food at an affordable price. There lunch specials are a good size. I still have to take some with me.

My new favorite Mexican food restaurant! Salsa is great! Chips are light and crispy. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The Mushroom Pollo was a little greasy, but that's to be expected with Monterrey Jack cheese. Other than that, it was a fantastic dining experience! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a new place to try! You won't be disappointed.

The prices are good and the is okay. Would recommend if your looking to eat at a restaurant for a cheap price. 😊

Food was good and customer service was alright, I just didn't like the fact that my waitress thought her phone was more important then bringing my food out, She instead sat my plate on the dusty shelf to answer her phone and was constantly on it the hole time we were there..

Very neat and welcoming spot. They provide large portions and for reasonable prices. We liked the menu a lot and the waiters were very welcoming and informative. Will definitely recommend this place.

That is not queso..has no cheese taste at all..We will be back... The beef was that goodOur go to place is Oasis across the street but wanted to try something new.. Jalapeno is not in the same class at all..

We ordered a combo fajita meal to go and there was very little meat there. We felt like we had been ripped off and the food wasn't very good at all. However the salsa was great!

It sucked, the service was poor never came out to check on us. The food did not taste good it did not taste at all like Mexican food does. Will not go back.

If you’re a Midwesterner without any exposure to authentic quality cuisines, this place is for you. This is the whitest “Mexican” food I’ve ever tasted. Completely devoid of seasonings. Also, for a place called Jalapeno’s, don't assume they have any. I ordered 4, grilled. They brought me Serrano peppers, which can be 10x hotter, and are not eaten in the same way.

Horrible experience! We’ve been eating here for years and it’s gotten progressively worse. We seldom come here anymore but thought we’d give it a chance today. There were ants crawling all over our table and our kids. One of them went down my husbands shirt. I told the waitress and she didn’t say anything or offer us to move. The food wasn’t that good either. Rice was over cooked, queso was gross. The customer service is not good here anymore. Today was the last visit for us.....

The food was good, the lunch portions were perfect and the waitress was pleasantly attentive without being in your face. The price for the lunch special is excellent, and my only complaint is that the tv was too loud. Absolutely do recommend this place.

Nice, friendly, clean and good value

If I could give less than one star I would. Used to be a great place to eat, so not sure what happened, but it's been going downhill for about the past year now. Horrible service, slow & unfriendly, & the queso tastes like pure velveeta with the consistency of soup. Today we ordered fajitas for 2 to go. Got home, it's fajitas for one. My bad, should have checked it at the restaurant. Call up there to inform them of the mistake. A woman answers the phone & she is told what the problem is. She hands the phone off to a man who just wants to keep saying "So what do you want me to do?" Duh! Either give a refund or the rest of the food that's supposed to be with the order. It's not rocket science! This will be the last time I eat or order anything from here. It's worth driving farther just to avoid this garbage.
